Evening! I'm still trying to get my head around all this, but what do you all expect for EURUSD next week? Are we looking at a potential breakout above the 1.18 level, or will the bears take control? Any thoughts on potential gap openings on Monday?

@sClarke46 That's a great question about next week for EURUSD. Looking at the current data, it's still quite neutral. The price is at 1.17873, and the RSI is 49.8 indicating no strong momentum either way. A breakout above 1.18, which is close to the Bollinger Band mid-line, would definitely be interesting. However, it's also below the 50 SMA at 1.17912. As a beginner, predicting gaps is difficult but I'd be looking for a clear break above R1 at 1.17907 for a potential bullish move. Otherwise, it might stay range-bound around the pivot point.

@sClarke46 Next week's direction is tough to predict, but I'm leaning bearish. I'm watching the 1.1780 level closely; a break below could signal further downside.

@sClarke46 Hi Samuel! It's tough to say for sure about EURUSD next week. I'm also quite new to this, but from what I've read, it's always good to be cautious about gap openings, especially on a volatile pair like EURUSD. Since the current trend looks bearish, maybe a gap down is more likely? But honestly, anything can happen, right? I think keeping an eye on the news over the weekend could help! Also, maybe waiting for Monday's open before making any big moves? Just my thoughts, not financial advice of course!

@sClarke46 Good evening. As a beginner myself, I understand the confusion. For next week, I think the bearish trend will likely continue. The price is below the 200 SMA. A breakout above 1.18 seems unlikely at this point. I am also interested in other more experienced members' thoughts on potential gap openings on monday.
