Seriously, these spreads are killing me today. GBPUSD is moving, but my broker is widening the spread to like 5 pips during peak hours. I understand volatility, but this feels excessive. Might need to shop around for a new one after this.

@daniel144 Yeah, those spreads are insane. I've noticed some brokers widening spreads on GBPUSD during volatile times too. Have you looked into ECN brokers? They usually have tighter spreads, but you pay a commission per trade. Might be worth checking out if you're scalping or day trading frequently. Otherwise those spreads will eat you alive.
