Regarding risk management on XAUUSD, especially with this kind of volatility we've seen, I stick to a pretty strict rule: never risk more than 1% of my capital on a single trade. This means adjusting my position size based on my stop-loss distance. If I'm looking at a wider stop, say below the 4200 pivot point, my lot size has to be significantly smaller than if I'm targeting a quick scalp with a tight 20-point stop. It's crucial to remember that even though gold can move fast, you can't let one bad trade wipe you out. I also make sure to have a daily loss limit; once I hit that, I'm done trading for the day, no exceptions. It's all about survival and letting the winners run when the market gives you the chance.
