With the DXY overbought like this, I'm considering a small short position. I'm thinking of risking only 0.5% of my capital. It's just a small scalp, since the overall trend is up, but the RSI is so high, it might retrace a bit. Plus with the dollar strength news, it could be a buying the rumor selling the fact type of situation.

I'm thinking of setting my stop loss pretty tight, maybe just above R1 at 99.37. Don't want to get caught in a liquidity grab if it keeps pushing higher.

@amanda8081 I see your point about the RSI being high, but on the DXY daily, it's only at 44, which isn't exactly overbought. I'd be cautious about shorting here, especially with the Middle East tensions and the looming Fed meeting mentioned in the news. I'm leaning towards sideways action until then, or a potential push higher if the Fed is hawkish.
