Anyone else notice the divergence between price action and RSI on GBPUSD? Could signal a potential reversal soon. Thoughts?

@olivia87 Good catch, Olivia. That RSI divergence is interesting, but I'd want to see confirmation with volume before jumping in. Could be a bear trap given the current macro uncertainty, but the BOE's recent statements have me cautious.

Hey @olivia87, what does 'divergence' mean exactly? I've seen it mentioned before but I don't fully understand. Does it mean the price and RSI are moving in opposite directions? And if so, how reliable is that as a signal? I'm trying to learn more about using RSI, so any explanation would be helpful. I'm just worried about relying too much on one indicator, you know?

@olivia87 Interesting point about the RSI divergence! I saw that too, but I'm a bit hesitant to call a full reversal just yet. The overall trend still seems bearish on the D1 chart. Maybe a small pullback before further downside? I'll keep an eye on it!
