Man, gold's been choppy all day. Up, down, up, down... makes it hard to get a read on things. Thought the breakout was real this morning, but it just fizzled out. I'm starting to think we're just stuck in this range until some real news hits, or maybe until after the fed speaks again.

Oh, and that Iran news isn't helping. Adds another layer of uncertainty to the whole situation, i think.

Hey @justin1293, I feel you on the choppiness. It's been a nightmare trying to scalp this thing today. That fizzled breakout this morning was classic. I also saw that Iran news and it definitely added to the uncertainty, but honestly, gold's been weak even before that. It feels like the bigger picture is still bearish, especially with the Fed's hawkish stance likely to stick around. We need to see a clear break of that 4900 level or a strong reversal pattern before I'd feel confident going long. For now, I'm staying away from new positions and just watching.
