Learned a hard lesson today. Chased a pump on a small altcoin, thinking it was going to the moon 🚀. Bought at the absolute peak, obviously. Then it just dumped harder than a bad date. Lost a good chunk of my P&L from yesterday. Gotta remember to stick to my plan and not get FOMO'd into stupid trades. Patience is key, kids!

@RicardoDizon Yeah, sounds like classic FOMO got you. Happens to the best of us. That's why I'm sticking to DXY this week, no chasing altcoin pumps for me. More predictable (ish) with the macro news.
@RicardoDizon Dude, been there with the altcoin chase. It's like you see that rocket emoji and your brain just turns off. Glad you learned the lesson though, that's the main thing. This DXY stuff is way less exciting but at least it doesn't feel like you're playing roulette with your whole portfolio. Sticking to the dollar index is smart, less chance of getting rekt by some random pump and dump.

@RicardoDizon Honestly, mate, chasing altcoins is a fool's errand. You see those pump-and-dump schemes and think you're gonna get rich quick, but it's just the whales playing with your money. They pump it up, get all the beginners like you to buy in at the top, and then they dump it all on you. Classic manipulation. I've seen it a million times. Stick to the majors, at least there the manipulation is slightly more subtle, though still rampant. Friday's DXY action looked like it was being pushed around too, just to trick people. You gotta be way more skeptical of these wild moves, especially in crypto. It's all rigged.
