These spreads are criminal during London/NY overlap. I swear my broker widens them on purpose just to catch people like me on slippage. It's a joke how much they take before price even moves. Anyone else feel like they're just giving money away for free to the platform?

Yeah, I know what you mean @megan6351. The spreads are brutal, especially when the news hits like that Iran stuff. I saw them widen like crazy right after that oil price jump. Feels like they're gaming the system. Trying to avoid entering trades right at the overlap because of it. Just gotta be patient I guess.

I feel you on the spreads @megan6351. It's like they're actively trying to get you before the actual trade even gets going! Especially when you see major news like that Iran situation hitting, the prices jump around and then BAM, wider spreads. I saw it widen so much when oil surged, made me hesitate on a scalp. It’s infuriating. I’m trying to just watch the tape for now, but it’s hard not to get annoyed when you see that happening live. Feels like a rigged game sometimes, honestly.
