This past week was a bit of a rollercoaster for gold, wasn't it? I took a small long position on Thursday when it dipped towards the 20-day SMA around 4647, hoping for a bounce. It moved up a bit, but then Friday's action pulled it back down near the weekend close. Managed to exit with a small profit, but it felt too close for comfort. Definitely need to be more disciplined with my stop losses next week, especially if volatility remains high.
