They've been fairly hawkish lately, and if inflation isn't cooling as expected, they might have to consider something more aggressive than just jawboning. For USDJPY, that could mean a serious push higher, especially if we see it breaking above current resistance levels. I've got my eye on that 160.50 area. A clean break there on good volume could signal a stronger bullish trend continuation, regardless of the CPI number. It's always about how the market *reacts* to the news, not just the news itself. Keep a tight stop if you're long.
