Okay, so I'm holding a small long position on USDJPY from earlier today... I'm a little nervous about leaving it open overnight with everything happening in the Middle East... I've moved my stop loss a bit tighter, just in case. Hopefully, it'll be okay. Going to bed now, fingers crossed!

Ugh, I probably shouldn't have left that position open... I know, I know, risk management is important. I just thought it looked like it had some upward momentum earlier. I'm trying to learn more about technical analysis so I can make better decisions... maybe I need to study more about how geopolitical events affect the Yen. I was reading somwhere that safe haven currencies tend to gain in times of crisis, right?? Should have closed before the NY session closed. I'm really hoping it doesn't gap down too much while I'm sleeping. Lesson learned, I guess. Next time, close before bed!

@fatima3873 I understand being nervous leaving positions open overnight, especially with the Middle East situation. Maybe scale out some of your position to reduce risk?

@fatima3873 I get it, leaving trades open overnight is stressful. Maybe try scaling out of part of your position like @MehreenA48 suggested? Reduces the risk if things go south while you're sleeping.
