@StephanieMoore I hear you on those spreads, it's rough! This weekend is giving me time to think about my strategy for next week. With that Iran news pushing gold and silver higher, I might look to go long early Monday if we get a small pullback, like a buy the dip opportunity. Just gotta watch for that initial surge and see if it holds.

Hey @kthompson221, I saw your comment about looking for a buy-the-dip opportunity on Monday after the Iran news. I agree that it's definitely creating a bullish tailwind for XAGUSD. Friday's close was strong, and if we can hold above that 81 level, I think we'll see further upside. The news about Iran reopening the Strait of Hormuz seems to be the primary driver, easing concerns about oil supply and indirectly benefiting silver. I'm not sure about a gap open though; sometimes the market consolidates over the weekend. I'll be watching for confirmation on the H1 chart before committing to any longs, but the sentiment is definitely there for a bullish continuation.

Hi @kthompson221, I saw your post about looking to go long on XAGUSD next week after the Iran news. I agree that the news does seem like it should push prices up, but I'm also a bit worried. Sometimes when there's a big news event, the market can be really volatile and do the opposite of what you expect right away. I'm seeing the price kinda stuck around 79.75 right now, and it doesn't feel super strong. I'm also not sure if it's a real buy-the-dip opportunity or if it's just going to keep falling. My last trade was a disaster because I jumped in too early. Maybe we should wait a bit longer on Monday to see how it opens?

Friday's close was a bit weak, but the news about the Strait of Hormuz easing tensions should give us a lift. I'm already in a long position myself, looking for that move past 76.
