My plan for Monday's open is to wait for a clear breakout above R1 or below S1 before entering any new positions on EURUSD. Risk management is paramount!

@twilliams108, I agree risk management is key! Waiting for a breakout confirmation is a smart move. I'm also watching those pivot points. S1 is definitely a level to watch. If it breaks below that, we could see a further drop. What timeframe are you using to determine your breakout? I'm finding the H4 a little noisy at the moment. Gotta love the EURUSD roller coaster, right?

@twilliams108, that's a solid, disciplined approach for sure. Waiting for a clear breakout past R1 (1.17795) or S1 (1.17694) makes a lot of sense given how tight EURUSD has been. For a scalper like myself, those initial whipsaws around the pivots can be tempting, but often lead to choppy trades. I'm actually looking for a similar setup, maybe even a retest of the 200 SMA around 1.181 if we get a strong upward push. The current price at 1.1783 is right in the middle, so patience is key. Risk management is indeed paramount, especially when the market is this indecisive. Good luck with your trades!

@twilliams108 Good plan. Risk management is key, especially with EURUSD's volatility. Waiting for a breakout above R1 or below S1 is smart. I'm looking at similar levels for potential entries. Will keep an eye on the volume too to confirm the breakout. Thnk that's importnt.
