I'm still trying to get my head around how the Ichimoku cloud actually works in practice. I see the signals, but correlating them effectively with price action and other indicators like RSI still feels like a bit of a black box to me. Anyone have a good resource or a clear way they integrate it into their XAGUSD analysis?

Actually, thinking more about the Ichimoku, I've been demoing a strategy that uses the Kijun-sen cross as a confirmation entry after a break of the Tenkan-sen. The idea is that it filters out some of the choppier moves that might only involve the Tenkan-sen. I'm trying to see if it improves my win rate on these sideways XAGUSD markets where the price just bounces between levels. It's also supposed to give a clearer picture of the overall trend strength than just looking at the price relative to the cloud itself. Still early days, but I'll report back if it seems to be doing anything.
