I agree with @hRogers81 that geopolitical uncertainty is a significant factor driving gold prices. However, I am a little wary of relying too heavily on macroeconomic factors as a beginner. However, I'm a bit skeptical about relying solely on those narratives. Gold can be quite reactive to interest rate hikes, and the Fed's stance remains hawkish. Furthermore, while gold is often viewed as a safe haven, it's not immune to broad market sell-offs. A significant correction in equities could drag gold down with it, regardless of its safe-haven status. I'm watching the RSI closely for any signs of overbought conditions.
