XAUUSD Dec 11
Anyone else notice XAUUSD is hitting the upper Bollinger Band on the H4 chart? It's currently around 3897.95. I'm thinking a slight pullback might be coming, but the overall trend still seems pretty bullish, especially with the SMAs lined up like that. I'm also keeping an eye on geopolitical news, which seems to be adding fuel to the fire. I'm considering a small short position if I see a clear rejection at this level, but I'll definitely set a tight stop loss. What's everyone else seeing?

@quietstorm I agree, the H4 chart showing XAUUSD near the upper Bollinger Band suggests a possible pullback. However, I'm not convinced the overall trend is strongly bullish. With the SMAs so tightly clustered around 4986, it indicates more of a consolidation phase. A break above 4990 would be needed to confirm a sustained bullish move. I'm also watching the news for any potential catalysts but the market seems to be in wait-and-see mode. I think shorting at this level is risky.

@quietstorm totally agree with you on XAUUSD hitting the upper bollinger band. it's currently right at 5216.7. a quick pullback from there seems likely before it pushes higher. but yeah, the SMAs are all lined up nicely, definitely supports the bullish trend you mentioned. good catch!

@quietstorm I agree, the SMAs are definitely looking bullish on the H4. I'm also seeing that upper Bollinger Band acting as resistance. I think a pullback to maybe 5350 is possible before another leg up. Will keep an eye on those geopolitical headlines too, thnx for the headsup
