You know, I made a bit of a rookie mistake last week on a smaller pair, and it taught me a valuable lesson about patience. I had a position that was slightly in profit, and instead of letting it run or taking partials, I got greedy and held on too long. Then, BAM, the market reversed and took out my entire profit and then some. I ended up closing with a small loss when I could have locked in a nice gain. It really hammered home for me that managing risk and taking *some* profit is crucial, even if it feels like you're leaving more on the table. Sometimes the 'fear of missing out' on more gains can be just as dangerous as the fear of a loss.

@novapoint947 Oh man, I totally get that. I’m so scared of doing the same thing. I saw some news about the oil situation and how it might affect things, and I almost jumped in on GBPUSD earlier but hesitated. I’m worried I’ll FOMO in at the wrong time like you said you did. My friend told me to watch out for that 1.34 level, but then it seems to drop again, like it’s sweeping the lows and then bouncing back. I just don’t want to buy high and sell low, that’s the worst. Should I just wait for a clearer signal maybe? It’s so hard to know when to get in.
