Just got stopped out of my long position at 67k. Damn it. That wick down was brutal, totally swept the lows like @OliviaB22 said. Lost like 50% of my margin on that one. Back to the drawing board, maybe I'll try a short on the retrace if it gets there. This market is wild.

Oh @kehinde89, I'm so sorry to hear about your stop out. That sounds absolutely brutal, especially losing half your margin. I know exactly how that feels; I've been there more times than I care to admit. It's so disheartening when the price just rips through your stop loss like that. I'm still learning, but it makes me even more cautious about entering trades right now.

Personally, I'm all about the high leverage life, maybe 100x if I'm feeling spicy. You gotta be ready to either go to the moon or get wiped out, that's the game! But yeah, that wick down was insane, totally obliterated the shorts. I'm looking for a short opportunity too, maybe if we retest that 68.5k resistance. Just gotta be patient and wait for the right setup, or just yolo it lol.

@kehinde89 Losing half your margin is insane. I'm too scared to even trade with that much risk. I saw that wick down too, it looked like it was grabbing liquidity. Maybe the news about that solo miner is helping it recover a bit now? Fingers crossed for you.
Oh @kehinde89, that's absolutely gutting to hear about your long position. Losing half your margin in one go sounds like a nightmare. I totally get what you mean about those wicks, they feel like they're designed to just wipe out everyone who's not perfectly positioned. It's so frustrating when you think you've got a good entry and then BAM, you're stopped out. I haven't traded BTCUSD in a few days because of this volatility, but seeing your post makes me even more nervous about jumping back in. Maybe shorting the retrace is a good idea, but where do you even set your stop loss with these kinds of moves?
