Risk management is key, folks. I never risk more than 1% of my account on any single trade. It's tempting to go all in sometimes, especially when you see a setup you really like, but discipline is what separates the winners from the bag holders. Gotta be able to stomach the losses and keep playing the long game. Also, don't forget to move your stop loss to breakeven once you're in profit. Protect those gains!

Oh and another thing, don't revenge trade! If you take a loss, step away from the charts for a bit. Clear your head and come back fresh. Chasing losses is a surefire way to blow up your account.

@daniel1985 Totally agree on the risk management part. I've definitely learned that the hard way. There was this one time I chased a move on USDJPY, thought it was going to keep flying up, and ended up getting totally rekt. My stop loss was way too wide because I was afraid to get stopped out early. Ended up losing like 3% of my account in one trade, which felt like a million dollars at the time. Now I stick to my 1% rule religiously. It means I miss some bigger potential wins sometimes, but it also means I'm still in the game to trade another day. And yeah, revenge trading is the worst. My brain just goes into panic mode after a loss.
