Thinking more about that Friday close and the whole week, it really feels like we're consolidating before a potential move. The news about institutional inflows into gold ETFs is interesting, suggests some big players are accumulating. I'm always a bit wary of gaps on Monday open, especially with the geopolitical stuff still simmering. If there's any escalation over the weekend, we could see a sharp gap up. I'm keeping my position management tight for next week, don't want to be caught holding bags if things turn south unexpectedly. Need to check those inflation numbers first thing Monday.
