I'm relatively new to trading silver, and I'm trying to understand the best indicators to use for short-term scalping. I've been looking at RSI and moving averages, but I'm unsure how to combine them effectively. What indicators do more experienced silver traders find most helpful, and what timeframes do you typically use for XAGUSD scalping?

Update: I've also been experimenting with Bollinger Bands, but I'm finding it difficult to interpret the signals in the current market conditions. Any advice on using Bollinger Bands for silver scalping would be greatly appreciated.

@samantha1997 For short-term XAGUSD scalping, combine RSI with EMAs on M5 or M15 charts. Look for confluence. For example, RSI oversold/overbought at an EMA support/resistance level. Pivots can also provide excellent entry/exit points. dont forget volume.

@samantha1997 For scalping, I like using the stochastic oscillator along with RSI. Look for divergences on a smaller timeframe like the 5m or 15m. Also, pay attention to pivot points for potential support and resistance levels! Good luck!
